It is sometimes necessary to overnight in Cairns prior to your departure to the Cape and if so we can help you with a hotel booking advice if required. Passengers are required to check in at the SKYTRANS desk in the Cairns DOMESTIC terminal at least one hour prior to the scheduled departure time. Check your booking documentation for confirmation of your Cairns Cape York flight time. Check in will close 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. You will not be able to check in after this time. You need to bring photo ID for electronic ticketing and standard security checks apply. It is our advice to all anglers to purchase travel insurance.

The aircraft is a Dash 8 aircraft, 36 seats, is air-conditioned with in-flight service. The aircraft has overhead baggage compartments for carry on baggage along with a galley and toilet compartment. Your checked luggage allowance is 20KG and 6 kg of cabin baggage. This allowance is strictly enforced by the airline and a maximum of seven feet for rod tubes also applies.

The flight time to Cape York is 2 hours with quality cabin service over the rainforests of the Cape and the Great Barrier Reef, an absolute spectacle in its own right. You will be met on arrival at Bamaga Airport by Greg and transferred to the mothership for immediate departure. Use soft carry all type luggage, DEFINITELY NO HARD SUITCASES

All are served with the freshest of salads and or steamed vegetables prepared in the well appointed galley and or on the barbecue on the back deck. All meals are prepared and served onboard the mothership.
